Which one is correct:

1-Would you like something to eat ?
or
2-Would you like to eat something?

If both are right which one do you like to use?

Both are correct.

Which one I'd use depends on the situation. For example if a guest was at my house, I would ask, 'Would you like something to eat?' But if I was out with a friend or other person, I'd probably say, 'Would you like to eat something?'

He is at a resturant and the waiter is asking him.

Do you mean no.2 is the best or both can be used for this situation.

Usually people at restaurants are there to eat. Neither one is a natural question for a waiter to ask.
