You don't come home last night

Hi, I came across the sentence below in the TV drama Breaking BAD S01E01, where Mrs White questioned about his husband being late for home:

“You don't come home last night until 2 in the morning.”

You see the time adverbial is last night, which means the action should be in the past tense.

“You didn’t come home last night” is what we usually learn from the textbook, but Why is the present simple tense used here?

Your explanations would be appreciated.

Is that definitely what she said (in the audio version)? I wonder if it's a typo in the subtitles. However, it is possible that it's what she said. Some TV shows have very stylised dialogue and/or use constructions used by real people from the area involved.

I’ve checked it many times and I’m pretty sure it’s “don’t”. Now I know what she said is not standard, but people do sometimes use it, which doesn’t necessarily mean we should learn to use it.
