Which version sounds more correct? In English classes I was always taught to "shift one tense back" when reporting/quoting what someone said (or didn't say) e.g. "I will be coming" -> "He said he'd (he would) be coming". But in the sentence in the subject, I'd go for "whether you'll come", I'm not sure why, it just sounds more natural. Which is correct?
