Do you have any more context, a few more lines of dialogue, perhaps?
Context is important. Please provide enough for us to be able to deal effectively with your question.
Your thread title should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.
If you just want to know the meaning of a word, try OneLook Dictionary Search first.

Re: "Stuff players" ?
Yes, this expression is also from Iceberg Slim's book "Pimp - The story of my life". (Just like my former questions) The author is a black man, who was pimping in Chicago in the 30s but later squared up and wrote books about his experiences. When he got into jail for the second time he writes:
"This was a prison of cliques, of bloody vendettas. I found my level with the soft spoken, smooth, Midwestern pimps and stuff players”
My sixth sense whispers that "stuff player" means some kind of a con man here, but I am not sure....

Re: "Stuff players" ?
Have you tried the Urban Dictionary? A 'player' is a money-making operative (often of dubious morals), and 'stuff' in some contexts means 'illicit drugs'. That might make a 'stuff player' a drug dealer.
