A lot of people are using it in my country. People often misunderstood each other because the other doesn´t know what the other person is talking about. It usually happens to me and my friends. I like the gay language.

Polari declined in use in the UK in the 1960s; once homosexual acts were legal, there was less need for the code. However, some of the terms are used in everyday colloquial language like naff, balmoney and cottaging.
