hi,

Great! It's both funny and sad, but unfortunately this is reality; Nowdays the American dream has spread throught the whole world. By American dream I mean to get rich not spiritually but physically; that money can buy love and happiness. A wonderful example of this( get rich not spiritually but physically) is in the novel "The Great Gatsby" by Fitzgerald. So it is clear why this word f#ck has become more used than the word God.

best wishes,

Madox

Truly and sadly, it has been so common I think that people has substituted the "full stop" with words like f*ck. Here in the Philippines, there is one expression (Put*ng-ina-mo) used just like f*ck. It literally means "Your a son of a harlot", that I think has a counterpart in the US... I think the world's changed mostly from morality to absurdity........

I could live my whole life without using that word once.

Because it is so common that even children use that word though they didnīt know the meaning of it. Sometimes I find myself using it unconsciously. I think a lot of people donīt regard it as a bad word anymore.

But people generally accept it as an everyday expression.

I admire those people who can distinguish good and bad words.

That's why it really helps to consult the dictionary first before using a new learned word...

Many speakers think that no sentence is complete without it.
