| When used in this way, it is usually taken to mean congratulations. The way to go = the direction to take. |

| Hi Anglika, Thank you for your answer. 1. Since "way to go" means congraduations, then would it redundant in that context because the first sentence has expressed "congraduations"? 2. If someone did a good job, and I'd like to say congraduations and let he/she keep on doing it in the same or better way. Is there any colloquial words for this? Is it okay to say "Way to go and move on"? |
