Hi teachers
Can you please correct for me these sentences, is it
From 1979 to 1984, both figures rose moderately to 20 million of visits abroad by UK residents
or
From 1979 to 1984, both figures rose moderately to 20 million visits abroad by UK residents
And my second question is does two clauses have to be equal when I use while, for example, is it okay if I write
There were 10 million of people who came to visit the UK in 1979, while the number of UK residents traveling to other countries was higher than that.
Is comma always necessary before while too ??
Thank you very much
