There's a nice view of/in the forest from here?

This is the fourth or fifth similar question you have posted. We have simPly given you the answer until now. I think it's time for you to tell us which you think is correct and why, then we will comment.

Unfortunately I am not really good at prepositions. I know a lot but of course not all. Sometimes it is totally clear but other times I can't decide it. I am thinking about it a lot. Trying to say them loud to decide which one sounds better, but I don't always choose the right one. That's why I ask for help. Sorry for annoying you.
In Hungarian we say sitting on the balcony, playing on the playground, working on the economic department, but it is not always the same in English. So it is difficult to choose.
:-(

It would depend whether you were in the forest or outside it, probably some distance away.

There's a guesthouse in the forest, and from its balcony you can see the forest and the trees.

I would have thought that if you can see the forest, you can see the trees especially if you are in the forest. If I were in a guest house in a forest I might say, "There is a good veiw of the forest from here".

I agree. That's what I thought.
