Can the word 'blush' imply rage? As far as I am concerned, I'd say that the word blush means to become red in face because of embarrasment. Perhaps because of lack of experience with this word, I don't think it can be used when your face becomes red because of rage or angriness. Can you clarify please?

'Blush' only means 'to become red in the face from embarrassment, shame, modesty, or guilt'. (COED)

You can "flush" with rage, though.
