I have some questions about reading fractions such as 1/2, 1/4, 2 1/2, and 10 3/4.

Please check my reading of fractions if it is correct or not.

a. 1/2 : a half
one half
one seconds
one over two

b. 1/4 : a quarter
one quarter
one fourths
one over four

c. 2 1/2 : two and a half
whole two and a half
two and one seconds
two and one over two

d. 10 3/4 : ten and three quarters
whole ten and three quarters
ten and three fourths
ten and three over four

How about 24/234? Can I read it as twenty-four over two hundred thirty-four?

You would read it as "twenty four two hundred and thirty fourths". In the unlikely circumstance that you had to read this aloud to someone else, your suggestion might be clearer. But that's not traditionally how it's read.

In math class, it would be "twenty-four over two (hundred) thirty-four."
