Hello.

Could you please have a look at the screenshot and tell me what the meaning of 'one drink order' is?100741604_274704027268549_9138833156185522176_n.jpg What do you call the objects which I have marked with arrows? Do you call them 'disco lights' and ' music equipment'?
The picture is from the book Let's Talk about it by Craig Drayton.

The equipment is a karaoke machine, isn't it?

I can't guess what the "1 drink order" sign means.

Yes, I would say they are a disco ball, disco lights and a karaoke machine. I'm baffled by the sign too. Maybe they're suggesting that you can only order one drink at a time but that doesn't really make sense in a bar or a nightclub.

I think it might mean that you must order a drink; you cannot go in and sing karaoke without buying a drink.

The box on the ceiling is a speaker. The ball is a mirror ball. The big TV-like thing is a karaoke machine.

I don't know what 1 DRINK ORDER means.

It doesn't look like a disco to me. It looks like a bar.

In some Japanese concerts, part of the cost of the ticket is a drink- you get a voucher and get a beer or whatever. I've never got through a decent concert on a single beer, so it hasn't affected me.
