Please confirm whether following sentences are grammatically correct.

1) The Simpsons are the most cynical televison show of the last decade.
2) At the start of the meeting, Mr Burns, my boss and mentor, always stand and sing the company song.
3) Shaking the cans cause them to squirt when they are opened
 
Please confirm whether following sentences are grammatically correct.

1) The Simpsons are the most cynical televison show of the last decade.
I am not sure, but I would say: "The Simpsons is..."
2) At the start of the meeting, Mr Burns, my boss and mentor, always stands and sings the company song.
3) Shaking the cans cause them to squirt, when they are being opened
I am also not sure if I am right here.

3) Shaking the cans cause them to squirt, when they are being opened
I am also not sure if I am right here.

"Being" is optional, but "cause" should be "causes".

The Simpsons is the name of a TV show, so it should be in italics or underlined. "The Simpsons is ... "
This applies to books, movies, and the titles of other artworks.
If you are talking about the characters, you don't need italics:
"The Simpsons are funny people."
