Hi,
Are [d], [ed], and[t] the "allomorphs" of past morpheme?

Hi,
Are [d], [ed], and[t] the "allomorphs" of past morpheme?

Hi,
Yes they are. (except for [ed] which had better be changed into [Id]

As you know these forms make up the "past morpheme", as its physical realisation. [d], [Id], and [t] in "answered", "wanted", and "asked" respectively.
