I am just a English bignner. My teacher asked me to correct this sentence. But I don't know where is wrong and how to correct. Can I correct it like this: What does a small child do? Thank you very much! Last edited: Mar 15, 2010

It's been changed to a different question. But that's the probably the answer.

Click to expand... Teacher: "what does ... do that" is incorrect. If you've heard something that a child can do and would like to know how it does that, then you ask "how does a child do that?" "what does a child do?" means you want to know what it does. Last edited: May 14, 2010
