Hi teachers,
I have a trouble in using the word "great". It seems that "a" usually precedes "great" in most sentences. For ex:
The earliest steam-driven vehicles produced (great)/ (a great) amount of noise.
Is there any difference between two choices? what case should we use "a great" or "great"
Thank you so much.
Best wish.
