"Newcomers" means, IMO, that those series are in hteir first season (="newbie")

"Newcomers" means, IMO, that those series are in hteir first season (="newbie")

:up: So they don't 'grab' any 'opportunity'; they just get nominated ('nod' - another short word very popular with headline-writers - as discussed in another (recent) thread).

It is in no sense a 'nod' thread. It's just one where I mentioned the habit of newspaper headlines to use short words. The post was this.
