Hi everyone! Long time no see!

I was wondering if the expression new girl in town has any other meaning than just girl who has just moved to a different town or city.

I appreciate your input.

NOT TEACHER, ONLY MY OPINION

New Girl in town: Girl arrived in your town from some other place, just as you said :)

Hi Ben,

Could you provide some context?

Without it, my feeling is that it means to be in a new situation in general (like a new job, even in the same town).

Thanks, buddy. The context is actually about the main meaning of the phrase, which is "a female who has just moved into a town". I don't know why it also occurred to me that it could also mean "a female who has just joined a team" (or something). I'd love to have this ascertained. Gracias.

NOT A TEACHER

I hope that this definition helps.

the new boy/girl British English (= the newest person in a job, organization etc – used humorously )
