In Oxford Advanced 8th, in the entry for the idiom
[h=4]my pleasure[/h]used as a polite way of replying when somebody thanks you for doing something, to show that you were happy to do it

I don't understand why the lexicographer wanted to emphasize the past status; could anyone help me?
