[General] I need help on writing a official letter to Electric Office ?

hello, Sir/Madam

today we brought an air conditioner,

as per Indian law we have to apply to electric office for electrical permit,

we have to mention our other home appliances in the application to indicate electrical loading,

my English is not good for official letters,

please, all you English speaking people, please help me..

Why wouldn't you just write it in Bengali?

In any case, here it is in the legalistic style of English:

Sir,

WHEREAS on this 30th day of March in the Year 2013, we purchased an Air Conditioner,
I hereby apply for a permit to operate said Air Conditioner, at the address:

[other details].

I'm not a fan of all this Dickensian stuff, but it probably goes down well with Indian bureaucrats. ;-)

It's probably best if you tabulate the other information:

Other equipment in regular use:
Fan heater.........2 Kw
Refrigerator.......0.1 Kw
...etc
