Suppose I am on a flight and I want to tell the lady sitting next to me what time the flight is landing.
Which one sounds more right? What is a better way to say it?
The flight is landing at 9:00 in the morning?
We are landing at 9:00 in the morning?

Suppose I am going back home a month from now and I just booked the air ticket.
I want to tell my mum the time I will get to our city.
Which one sounds more right? What is a better way to say it?
My flight is landing at 9:00 in the morning?
My flight will land at 9:00 in the morning?

Case 1: First of all, it will depend on whether you are replying to a question from the lady. If so, phrase the answer in the same terms of her question. For example, if she asked "What time are we landing?", you should reply "We are landing at ...etc". If she asked "What time does the flight land?", then answer using that form. Also, it would be more natural to say "will be landing.." instead of "is" and "are". IF she hasn't actually asked the question, then either form will be suitable.

Case 2: "My flight will land [or "be landing"] at 9 in the morning".

Here you are not talking about a timetable. You are predicting the future. The flight could arrive early or late. Therefore you would say "The flight (We) will be landing at 9:00 in the morning". You could omit 'in the morning' if it is obvious that you are not arriving in the evening.

If the captain has just announced the landing time you could say "We will land at 9:00 (in the morning)". Here you are stating what you think is probably true. There is still a possibility that you arrive a few minutes late or early.

Here you are tallking about a timetable where we use simple present. Therfore you could say "My flight lands (arrives) at 9:00 in the morning".

Given how unreliable flight timetables are, I would probably say "My flight is due/scheduled to land at 9am".
