I wanna ask..

" I like the song. The beat and the melody (is OR are) very catchy."

" Honesty and trustworthy (is OR are) very important"

Which one, teachers..?
is OR are..?

I'm not a teacher, but, I'd say that it is "Honesty and trustworthy are important."

Based on what my English teacher taught me while I was little, "is" is singular and "are" is plural. ;-)

I am just wondering..
It is said that uncountable noun is followed by a singular verb..:?:

Yes, but when you have two of anything (as in your example) use a plural verb. Also, "trustworthy" is an adjective, so you should use "trustworthiness" (noun).
