Are the following sentences use 'as much' correctly ?


- The land I have in my village, this land is as much.
- The land I have in my village, this land is half as much.
- Don't waste paper. Take as much you need.
- I can tell you as much I know.

The first two are incorrect. The last two are almost correct. The final one needs an extra word which I have added above. The third one is grammatically correct as far as sentence construction and the use of "as much" goes, but it makes no sense. If you want to start with "Don't waste paper", you need to follow it with "Take only as much as you need".

This piece of land is the same size as the piece of land I own in my village.
This piece of land is half the size as the piece of land I own in my village.

You have as much land here as I have in my village.
You have half as much land here as I have in my village.

Please tell me which sentence use 'much as' correctly?

He talks much as his grand father.
OR
He talks much as his grand father used to.

You realize this is a different meaning than "as much as" right?
As much as = the same amount (possible more)
Much as = in a way very similar to

I can't say that the first one is wrong, but the second one sounds much more natural to me. (If his grandfather is still alive, you would say "as his grandfather does.")

Note: "Grandfather" is one word.

It would work with much like instead of much as.
