What does to polish language mean exactly?

    Hey there,

My professor told me to further polish my language skills? What exactly does he mean? Judy to improve the skills or something else?

    thanks,

    Is your profile information correct?
Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

Not a teacher nor a native speaker.

He probably means that you need to work on all the little errors and refinements needed to smarten up your English rather than the basics.

Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    thanks,
I doubt whether he means anything specific. He just wants you to improve your English. "To further polish your language skills" is likely to be a euphemism.

May it be "Just" instead of "Judy"? The "s" key is next to the "d" key; and "t", "y".

I already suspected it was a typo or a predictive text "correction". I really wanted to get the OP to acknowledge and explain/rectify the error.

    Dictionaries are your friend.

See the second definition in the very top (the blue background) and the the first example sentence.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
