Have you anything to declare?
Is 'anything' really a noun rather than a pronoun? Detail explanation will be appreciated.

I have changed your thread title, Mithur.

What makes you think 'anything' is a noun?

Well, the box on the right of the screen in your link HERE shows that it is a noun meaning "a thing of any kind." The example sentence given is the exact sentence the OP used.

Well, I found it that way in another online dictionary. I'm convinced with other two cases but this one.
Anything might happen. (pronoun)
He is not anything like his father. (adverb)

I appreciate!

Fair enough.

I'm just off for an appointment with my optician — Seymour Clearly.
