This is not my homework.
When going through some literary source, I came across the sentence "Cricket match is being played". The sentence was not from a paragraph and was a independent sentence in an exercise related to finding errors related to the correct use of articles.
I think that cricket match being a countable noun MUST take article 'A" with it.
Kindly tell me is it mandatory to use the article A in this sentence or will it be fine without the article?
