cupboard, cabinet or closet?

Would you consider this a board game cupboard, a board game cabinet, or a board game closet?

Cabinet - my preference.
Cupboard - okay.
Closet - No, not a closet.
 
I'm equally okay with either 'cupboard' or 'cabinet', but definitely not a closet.
 
More specifically, it's a glass-fronted cupboard/cabinet.

Its use would not be confined to displaying board games.

The first word that popped up my mind was "cupboard". :-D I didn't even know we could describe it as a cabinet.
 
I agree with the reason given above in post #7. It's the display function that makes it a cabinet, not a cupboard, for me (BrE).
