Hello,

If I have, hypothetically, Thar desert and Sahara desert in my country, then is the following correct expression?

"In my country I have many deserts."

Thanks

Welcome to the forum, amishera.
If [STRIKE]I have[/STRIKE] there are, hypothetically, the Thar desert and the Sahara desert in my country, then is the following [STRIKE]correct[/STRIKE] expression correct?

"In my country I have many deserts."
No.

'In my country there are two deserts.'

It's grammatically correct, but it would be more natural to say My country has several or many deserts, or In my country there are several or many deserts, or There are several or many deserts in my country.

Ask Is this sentence correct?

(EDIT) As Rover pointed out, "two" is not many.

You could say that you have a lot of desert as the two are big, but you cannot say that two deserts are many deserts.
