Reading has become less significant to Americans. Present your views either agreeing or disagreeing the statement. (For practice)

Reading is one of the important skills of human. This is among the basic necessities of education and knowledge. However, after the inventions of audio- visual aids, people's reading habits have affected as these aids are more impressive and attractive to present the concept. The develpoed countries like America have many advanced technology which have already replaced book by kindle, I-Pad ,Audiobooks etc. Technology not only replaced the outer look of books, but also lost the interest in reading. I believe reading has become less significant to Americans.

Young Americans prefer to spend time on computers, video-games, and sports rather than reading a book. For them, reading is inactive and time consuming deed; readers can easily distract from reading. Therefore, reading is considered a boring endeavor among young people.

Furthermore, young adult Americans are not great readers as compare to their parents and grandparents. Due to excessive use of abbriviation and informal uasges, their spoken and written language has changed which affect their reading ability too.

Moreover, audio and audio-visual aids of books are more popular than the printed books in America. Audio-visual aids present the content in an effective way which captive in memory longer than marely reading. Reading is done alone most of the time while movie and T.V. can be watched with family and friends; even many people can listen audio together. Thus, Americans started to give more importance to the options of reading.

In conclusion, although reading is an integral part of basic skills of education, young Americans might not acknowledge the acedemic and comprehensive importance of reading as they have many options of reading which are less time consuming and more interesting.

Reading is one of the most important skills for any person. [STRIKE]of human.[/STRIKE]
I stopped here because the rest of your text is unnecessarily convoluted and, therefore, has many mistakes. Please rewrite it in a more direct and simple way! Also, talk about Americans (as per the given prompt), not about the developed world.

Revised:

Reading is one of the most important skills for any person. It is essential for education and knowledge. However, after the inventions of audio- visual aids, people's reading habits have affected. Since, these aids are more impressive and attractive to present the concept. In America, most of the books have already replaced by kindle, iPad ,Audiobooks, etc. Technology has not only changed the outer look of books, but also has lost the interest in reading. I believe reading has become less significant to Americans.

Reading needs more attention and time. For them, reading is inactive and time consuming activity; they may easily distract from reading. Young Americans prefer to spend more time on computers, video-games, and sports rather than reading a book. Therefore, reading is considered a boring endeavor among young people.

Furthermore, young Americans are not curious about scholastic reading as compared to their parents and grandparents. Due to excessive use of abbreviation and informal usages, their spoken and written language has changed which affect their reading abilities too.

Moreover, in America, audio and audio-visual aids of books are more popular than the printed books. Audio-visual aids present the content in such an effective way that is stored in memory longer than merely reading. Most of the time, reading is done alone while movie and T.V. can be watched with family and friends; even many people can listen audio together. Thus, Americans started to give more importance to the other aids of learning than reading.

In conclusion, reading is an integral part of the basic skills of education. Young Americans might not serious about academic and comprehensive importance of reading. They take easier and interesting choices of learning which has made the reading less significant.

This isn't a huge improvement on the previous version.
I suggest you do this essay step by step.
Start with two or three topic sentences for your body paragraphs.

Thoughtful, I have removed all the unnecessary spaces between paragraphs in posts 1 and 3. Please remember that one empty line is enough, not two (as you put between most of the paragraphs, and certainly not 3 or 4 as you left before your "In conclusion" paragraph!

Many people using pads, phones, etc, actually are reading. One of the biggest websites on the planet is the text-based Wikipedia. I don't buy newspapers much nowadays, but I still read them online. I guess that this is the same for many Americans. There may be an issue with text length, but that is a different question. Any text displayed on a webpage requires reading.
