I've tried to use "front" in my sentences. Would you please correct my mistake?

1. Anna hated to sit at the front of the class because she felt everyone was staring at her back.
2. Stephen was travel sick and asked the bus driver to sit at the front.
3. Not until he had come outside and walked for a few minutes, did Bob notice he was wearing his t-shirt back to front.
4. The runner who had broken the world record appeared on the front of the most newspapers.
5. The landlord had been ordered by the council to paint over the front of the house.
6. A hare jumped in front of Peter's BMW, and he swerved the car to avoid hitting it.
7. Refugees sat in front of the fire, trying to stay warm in the winter night.
8. Linda and her husband agreed never to argue in front of her children.
9. In front of the house stood a large sign "For Sale."
10.The lorry's brakes stopped functioning, and it crashed into a car at the crossing.
11. The doctor told Bea she should spend less time in front of the TV and instead exercise more.
12. The police have suspicions that some of the massage parlours in town are used as a front for human trafficking and prostitution.
13. Despite suffering from cancer, David kept a brave front.
14. Nobody could guess that behind Hannah's immaculate front garden there was a marriage in disintegration.

7. Refugees sat in front of the fire, trying to stay warm in the winter night.
That's not ungrammatical, but I suspect you're referring to a known/specific group of refugees.

8. Linda and her husband agreed never to argue in front of her children.
Are they not the husband's children?
