Of the two I'd say #1. I'd be more likely to say "I bought a Japanese (made) camera".

Canxx is a brand name of Camera. Why do we use plural forms?

Using a singular or a plural after a company name is one of those irritating things in the English language that doesn't really have a rule. Do you consider it as "a company" therefore singular, or as "all the people who work for that company and all the products the company makes" and therefore plural? In my opinion and experience, there is no right answer.

Canan are based in Korea, I think.
