Are both these sentences correct?

1) He is a kind man to help you yesterday.
2) He is a kind man to have helped you yesterday.

Could one use
3) He is a kind man to help you.
if the helping was done in the past?

I don't think that would work, but I am not sure. I think one might get away with it in conversation.
 
1) He is a kind man to help you yesterday.
2) He is a kind man to have helped you yesterday.
3) He is a kind man to help you.
None of these sounds natural to me. I'd say It was kind of him to help you.
