Are these correct and natural?

1. A lock of black hair had fallen off her veiled head, caressing her damp cheek.
2. A few errant tresses had slipped from under her hijab, brushing her cheeks.
3. A few stray tendrils of hair had escaped from under her scarf, hugging her cheeks.
4. A few strands of dark hair streamed down her face like rivulets.
5. Riotous strands of hair had gotten away from under her shawl, framing her pale cheeks.
 
If you're writing an 18th-century-style novel, they're marvellous.

Is this okay?

A few wisps of hair had escaped from under her scarf and were stuck to her cheek. She tucked them away.
