Hello.

Last post about pregnancy/motherhood. I don't think "a pleasant view to observe.." sounds natural?

"For many people it is not a pleasant view to observe how women are breastfeeding their children in public." Could you please help me to rephrase it?

We would normally say "a pleasant sight".

Without writing a whole new sentence I would say:
"For many people it is not a pleasant sight to observe women breastfeeding their children in public."

These days, at least in southern England, I would substitute "some" for "many".

I don't think "pleasant" or "unpleasant" are the best words in that kind of sentence. I suggest rephrasing it and using something like "embarrassing" or "uncomfortable" instead.

"For some people it's an embarrassing/uncomfortable sight to observe women breastfeeding their children in public."

Or

"Some people find it uncomfortable/embarrassing to observe women breastfeeding their children in public."

"For some people, it's [STRIKE]an[/STRIKE] embarrassing/uncomfortable [STRIKE]sight[/STRIKE] to observe women breastfeeding their children in public."
1- Consider using "it can be" to sound even more objective in that kind of controversial sentence.
2- While "observe" is not wrong, it's somewhat formal. Consider using "see" instead.
3- In the above, "their children" is superfluous. Who else are they going to be breastfeeding?! Omit it.

Or
"Some people find it uncomfortable/embarrassing to observe women breastfeeding their children in public."
See above. Post your amended sentences below.

Is the sentence below also correct?
"Some people find it uncomfortable to see women breastfeeding in public."

They're OK.

(Get over it.)
