Hi, this is my first post in the forums, I hope I can found an answer to my question here :)

I love photography and was thinking of a signature. I see that some people choose it like this:

My name photography
others use:
My name's photography

so witch is correct? with the ('s) or without it? Also, are there special considerations for some letters? I mean, my name is Motaz (it is Arabic) so I guess:
"Motaz's photography"
is difficult to pronounce, right?

Thanks in advance.
:)

"Photography" is the art, job or action of taking photos. What you need there is the noun "photograph". And, since you have a person there, you need to establish the possession relation by adding "`s". So it would be:

Paul`s photograph

When you are talking about more than one person you add the apostrophe at the end of the word, without adding an "s". So it would be:

The workers`rights

Can you notice the differnce? Be careful and don`t confuse with nouns such as children. It is not "the childrens`rights" neither "the children`rights". It is "the children`s rights".

It's not entirely clear what you mean by a 'signature.'
"Motaz's photography" is OK for a sign - for example on a web page, or over a shop. But you could also have "Motaz photography".
For a signature, I'd say that, "Motaz, Photographer" would be appropriate.
(My name is Motaz, and I am a photographer.)

You might have to clarify what you intend to do with it.

Thanks alot guys for the quick replies.
Leandro-Z: Thanks alot, I get it but I was asking if both were okay.

Raymott: Thanks for your comment, I want to use it as a signature on my photos and may be as a title for my website or portfolio ...

I see many people put this at the bottom of their photos:

"Karl Tanner photography" <==no 's
or

(I made up the names, of course!)..

So, I was asking about what is right as regards to grammar....thanks :)

"Motaz Photography" might be best then.
