I want to write a small paragraph about me somewhere - please tell if the following looks correct to you:

Software Engineer with 4 years of experience.
Worked as a Software Development Student at X between 2018-2020, developing an internal testing environment.
Currently, I work as a Software Engineer at a small startup company named Y.

(Note that X and Y are companies names that I cenzored).

Re: Is this correct?

I want to write a small paragraph about myself somewhere. Please tell me if the following looks correct to you:

Software Engineer with four years of experience[STRIKE].[/STRIKE] [Titles do not get periods.]

Worked as a software development student at X from 2018 through 2020, developing an internal testing environment.

Separate paragraphs with line breaks or indents (not both).

Currently, I work as a software engineer at a small startup company, [STRIKE]named[/STRIKE] Y.

(Note that X and Y are companies names that I removed).
If you worked there between 2018 and 2020, it means you only worked there in 2019. That's the year between 2018 and 2020.

If you worked there for only part of 2020, you can say: in 2018, 2019, and 2020 or from 2018 into 2020.

Censored does not have a Z.

Re: Is this correct?

You worked as a student? Are you sure that's what you mean? Did you get paid for this work?

Re: Is this correct?

I wonder if the OP meant "trainee" instead of "student".

Re: Is this correct?

Please note that I have changed your thread title.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Neither software nor engineer are proper nouns.
