I think Vladv1 is asking specifically about cases where the reflexive pronoun is an object of a preposition, not a verb. A related utterance might be:

I sh*t on myself this morning.

There are days when one's morning handstand routine doesn't quite go as planned.
Could you please tell why it is correct to say "Tom put the key under himself"? Since "Tom" and "under himself" is not the same thing, should it be under him. I am confused.

If you read "Tom put the key under him", how would you know who "him" refers to?

Why do you think they're not the same thing? Anyway, forget about this poor example.

The problem is I was taught that if the pronoun after preposition refers to the same thing as the subejct, we use objective case. Example; I put the box behind me. She put the vase above her (There is only one person in the room). Then Jutfrank kindly explained that if the place phrase and the subject ARE the same thing we use reflexive. Example; I put the book on myself. But in the examples I put the box under myself. Under myslef and I is not the same, so we should use objective? I am confused.

Please exapnd on why this examples are poor and give natural once. I am really grateful for you explanations.

Try:

Please explain why this example is not a good one, and give a natural one or two.

It's not something anybody would say.

Please exapnd on why this examples are poor

Three reasons why your example sentence is poor:

1) It doesn't make good sense. That is, people will not easily understand what it means.
2) There will very rarely be a situation where anyone would need to say that.
3) Even if there were such a situation, people would express the thought in a different way.

and give natural once.

We have several good natural examples in this thread already. Study those.
