It is one of the words that I am always confused.
Though I know that many threads talked about it, I want to make a summary in my mind about the usage of this word (and every aspect of usage that I can think of).
1. Active or passive
- I believe that the passive voice is grammatically correct, but I have heard many times that active voice is fine as well. Which one should be used in writing?
I am graduated from University X
I graduated from university X
2. 'Graduate' as a person
- I am a graduate of ...
- I am a graduate from ...
What should be filled in this '...' : university, degree, education level, or others?
Which preposition is correct?
Is it normal to use this word with this sense of meaning? Is it more common to use it in verb form instead?
3. Tense
In general, if we are talking about the graduation, should we use past tense, or present tense (or even present perfect)?
4. Preposition
- I am graduated (degree such as Bachelor's degree or high school diploma) in (sciences such as law) from (university, school) in (year) with first-class honor.
Is this grammatically correct? Am i using the right preposition?
Are there any other points I should know about this word?

He is graduated high school diploma of non-formal education course from the Non-formal Education Centre under the Office of Non-formal Education of XXX Province on 18 March 2003 with the following school record.
