That’s right, the latest Macy’s One Day Sale was Saturday, May 10, 2014 (with a preview day on Friday, May 9, 2014), and the Macys One Day Sale for June has yet to be announced just yet, but you can still save big with the latest Macy’s Sale.

Can anyone explain what the second yet in the sentence means and why it is used?

The writer changed their mind about the sentence but didn't go back and fix the beginning. This is bad style. I've done the same thing. Fortunately, when you ask someone else to read what you have written before you publish you usually find these things. This one slipped by.

We have known has/have yet + infinitive implies a negative meaning; for example, have yet to win a game. Does yet have to follow has or have to imply a negative meaning?
