Hello. Can anyone tell me if the following is grammatically correct?

Acceptance doesn’t mean you like it. Instead, It is to acknowledge what is.

It sounds unnatural. Can we use `to infinitive when we define something?

Welcome to the forum, Sandy33.

Please tell us the source and author of any text you quote.

Unfortunately I have no idea of the source. One of my friends asked me,
but I didn't know the answer. So would you help me?

Please drop your friend a quick message and ask them where they found the sentence, then provide the information here. We have very strict copyright laws in the UK (where the forum is based) so whenever you quote someone else's work, even if it's just one sentence, you must properly cite the source.

Thank you for letting me know. I asked him and he told me it's from EBS 수능특강 Light 영어, a Korean English textbook. And he wants to know if he can change a gerund into to infinitive.

Please translate the title of the book and the name of the author into English!

Or else ask your friend to join the forum himself so we can answer him directly.

@Sandy33 I have reinstated the entire contents of post #1 after you deleted it all. That's not an acceptable thing to do when a couple of people have spent time trying to help you get your post to a point where it can be answered.

I am locking this thread so no more changes can be made. Once your friend has provided the requisite information (or decides to join the forum), a new thread can be started.
