I think the comma within the quotation is necessary, because if I read that sentence out loud, I'd feel a pause after "do it" would sound very natural.

Where the first comma is, though, I do find something wrong there. I feel it would be better as "...achieve your goals. Keeping these words in mind..." or as "...achieve your goals, and keeping these words in mind..." Without a linking word like "and," it feels like a new sentence and should follow a period.

You're right, I read that incorrectly. I read it as the words to keep in mind are that I hope you strive to achieve your goals, and with that wish in mind, go out and achieve. I deleted my post because of the error.
