Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"After receiving the good news from his boss about being selected for the Leadership Training Course, the teacher got up with an expression of joy that was irrefutably drawn on her face."

Thanks.

Grammatical? Yes.

"Irrefutably drawn" is not very natural or sensical. Who would be refuting? Are they refuting that it was drawn? Or that she is feeling joy?

The teacher is feeling joy.

Hello. Unnecessary. Just go ahead with your question.

Thanks. Unnecessary. Don't thank us before we help you. After we help you, add the "Thanks" icon to any helpful post.

You're confusing the genders. If it's "his boss", it can't be "her face".

@Nikitus You made it much too complicated. Perhaps:

After receiving the good news, a big smile spread across her face.

I only partly agree. Your version loses the information about what the good news actually was, and also that she got up while smiling. Without context, we don't know if those bits of information are important or not. Nikitus presumably thought they were important enough to mention.

You don't have to put everything in one sentence. Also, context will tell you what's not in that sentence. (I'm repeating myself.)
