Please set me clear on the following in red.

Questioning well is a skill that helps you get closer to people. It can be a warm, interactive process, even if you have an agenda.

Is this saying "even if you are having a kind of business meeting that has an official agenda?"

Thank you.

No. Nothing to do with a meeting.

Meetings do have agendas. An agenda is a statement or list of things that it is hoped will be accomplished.

People can have their own agendas as well. I may act nice to my boss, but that is just because I want to get a raise, not because I really like him.

A politician may promise you benefits, but he just wants you to vote for him.

Do you mean a hidden agenda?

Yes, sometimes there are hidden agendas. Sometimes they are well known. You know the guy trying to sell you a car is trying to sell you a car, but you still might enjoy talking to him.

The original post only states that it can be "warm and interactive" to ask people questions, even if you have a reason to be doing so other than simply wanting to have a conversation.

Then may I simply take "agenda" to mean "intention" in the original post?

Yes- it's an intention, a bias, etc.
