It's very easy to space punctuation properly in English. For the end of a sentence:

1. Type the final word of a sentence.
2. Press the key with the ending punctuation mark on it.
3. Press the space bar.

For quotation marks:

1. Press the quotation-mark key.
2. Type the quoted text.
3. Press the quotation-mark key.
4. Press the space bar.

We seem to be going around in circles. I do not know what you mean by first subject or second subject. Perhaps:

Ahmed wishes he (Jack) would work harder.
Ahmed wishes he (Jack) would learn how to cook.

could
Ahmed wishes he could work harder. (Ahmed can't work harder.)
Ahmed wishes he could learn how to cook. Ahmed can't learn how to cook.)
