I was taught not to use also in negative sentences.
He is also not right.
The new patch is also not a solution.
I also don't like that rule.

Theoretically, we could simply cheat:
He is also wrong.
The new patch is also no solution.
I also dislike that rule.

Are the first three sentences really grammatically not correct?
We all understand them, but this doesn't automatically mean they are correct ;-)
Could there be a chance that it's an AmE vs. BrE topic :?:

IMO:
Also implies that there's a kind of something good added and that's fine.
Too would mean to add something either bad or not that good.

So => He is also experienced in playing football
=> He isnt good at playing football, too

That sounds more proper to my ears as also+not would sound weird

(As far as I know).

That sentence is correct unless a native speaker comes and argues that s/he has never heard of it and that's uncorrect as well.

Maybe I am obviously wrong
