I am listening to the BBC Newshour service in the url "https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/w172zss05prdpnb" and there is a word that I cannot understand at the minute 10:12. She is saying "And one these decisions are so hard to renoun(?)" What is the word is she saying at the question mark?
Thanks in advance.

It's not clear. She does seem to say 'renoun', so perhaps she meant to say 'renounce'?
