Hi,

Please correct the following.
Since you take tea too much, you should carry a vacuum flask with you wherever you go. And you can even offer to your friends on the way in case you meet them.

Perhaps:

Since you drink so much tea you should carry a Thermos bottle with you wherever you go. That way you can have some when you need it, and you can even offer some to your friends.

:)

Or just "a Thermos."

Is "Since you take tea too much," incorrect?

For me, it is very strange.

Is it OK if I use "too much" before tea?

Yes, you can say, for example:

I drink too much tea.

or

If I drink too much tea I get sick.

or

It's not good to drink too much tea.

There are, of course, other possibilities.
:)

Note that Tarheel used "drink", not "take".

Although "to take tea" is a known phrase, it's rather old-fashioned and refers to having tea, sandwiches and cake in the afternoon. If you're just talking about cups of tea, use "drink".

Do you understand the difference between "too much" and "so much"?

That's true but certainly in BrE, many people use "thermos" as a generic term.

I think most people would stare at you blankly if you asked about a "vacuum flask." It sounds like something you would expect to find in a chemical lab.

It would be understood in BrE. Most people would just say flask.

In AmE, a "flask" is a small container used for carrying booze with you.

Ah, that would be a hip flask in the UK.

If I drink so much tea that I get sick then I have drunk too much tea.

;-)

You should switch to Jack Daniel's.
