Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. She has a veto over house matters.
2. First you need to bring the water to a boil.
3. She will resign as the leader? (also not sure if an article would be required if it was ‘leader of the party’)

One and two are good, I agree the article should not necessarily be there in 3.
