Hi, teachers.
Are the next two sentences okay?
1. He is a top player and an outstanding leader.
2. He is a top player and outstanding leader.

Thanks in advance.:-D

Only #1 is OK.

hhs010120, as I have mentioned before, a better title would have been He is a top player and (an) outstanding leader.

Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Thanks for the reply, but I have seen people saying " He is a writer and actor," without the second article in front of the word "actor." What's the difference in ths case?

The adjective "outstanding" requires the article. "He is a top player and leader" would be OK.
