Hi
I have been trying to figure out the usage of "as" in this sentence:
The car was no longer okay to drive as a result of the crash.
I view "as a result of the crash" as a prepositiontal phrase and "as" as a preposition in this sentence. Is this correct?
Because I can also see "as" being a conjunction that connects "The car was no longer okay to drive" with "a result of the crash"...
I would greatly appreciate any help with this!
